Voice-first learning
Talk to Sage like you would talk to a tutor. Ask questions out loud, get spoken answers, and learn at the pace of a real conversation.
Quality private tutoring should not be a luxury. Learnable puts an AI tutor in every learner's pocket. Patient, available 24/7, and aligned with the CAPS curriculum.

South Africa has brilliant students held back by limited access to one-on-one learning support. We are building a tutor that explains concepts the way a real teacher would, with voice, diagrams, and the patience to answer the same question ten times if that is what it takes.
But closing the teaching gap is only half of it. Right now, most learners are meeting AI through tools that just hand them the answer. That is not learning, that is copying. Our mission is to introduce AI to South African learners in a way that is safe, honest, and genuinely useful, where the goal is to understand the work, not bypass it.
We are also part of bringing the fourth industrial revolution into our classrooms. The world is changing fast, and our learners deserve to grow up confident with the technology that will shape their careers. Sage is how we put that future, responsibly, into every learner's hands today.
Our vision is a future where personalised tutoring is affordable, familiar, and available wherever learning happens. We want every learner in South Africa to have a calm, capable study companion that helps them understand, not just memorise.
We see Sage in the township classroom where one teacher carries forty learners, in the suburban high school where a learner is racing to keep up with Maths Paper 2, and in the rural village where load-shedding cuts the lesson short but the homework still has to get done. The same tutor, the same patience, the same quality, no matter the postcode.
Because every kid in this country deserves to walk into an exam knowing they understood the work, not just survived it. That is the South Africa we are building Sage for.
Talk to Sage like you would talk to a tutor. Ask questions out loud, get spoken answers, and learn at the pace of a real conversation.
When a picture explains it better, Sage draws it on screen in real time. Circuits, graphs, geometry, and biology, all built to match the CAPS textbook style.
Every subject and topic is structured around the South African curriculum, from Grade 10 through Grade 12, across Maths, Sciences, and the humanities.
Cramming for an exam at 11pm? Stuck on homework on a Sunday morning? Sage is there. No scheduling, no waiting lists, no extra fees per session.
Sage is built around the learning moments students actually need: asking, checking, trying again, and feeling safe enough to say, βI don't get it yet.β
Not a textbook lecture. Not a multiple-choice quiz. Real back-and-forth, in your own words.
Sage explains, checks understanding, and adapts to where you are, not just what you typed.
It supports them, and the students who do not have enough one-on-one time. We are a supplement, not a substitute.
Co-founder Β· Head of Learning
Odette is the heart of Learnable's teaching. With a Bachelor's degree in Education from Wits University, she brings a deep understanding of how South African students actually learn, and where the system tends to leave them behind.
She shapes how Sage explains concepts, builds the CAPS-aligned curriculum behind the scenes, and makes sure every lesson feels less like a textbook and more like a patient tutor who genuinely wants you to get it.
We are a South African team building for the curriculum, schools, and learners we know best. Every example, every diagram, and every explanation is shaped by the realities of studying in SA.
