Your data is stored securely using Supabase (hosted on AWS). We use encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest. Access to personal data is restricted to authorised personnel only. We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Google Gemini: For AI tutoring conversations and voice interactions.
  • Supabase: For authentication and data storage.
  • PayFast: For secure payment processing.
  • Vercel: For hosting our website.

6. Your Rights (POPIA)

Under POPIA, you have the right to:

  • Access your personal information that we hold.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your personal information.

Our service is designed for high school students. If a user is under 18, we require parental or guardian consent for account creation. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. Learning session data is retained to show your progress. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
